Established as a Society in July 1975 as a multipurpose 56,200 square foot senior centre located in the heart of the city. It is designed to be the community focal point on aging where older persons as individuals or in groups can come together for services, activities and sociability.
The Centre employs enough staff to ensure administration and program continuity. The volunteer Board of Directors is responsible for the overall management of the organization and Chair the committees.
Our concept of “Service to Seniors by Seniors” was introduced to Lethbridge in 1974. The organization has expanded and matured and has become one if the largest seniors organizations in Canada.
The first Wednesday of each month, the Centre offers a tour for new members, or for those wishing to have a formal tour of the facilities.
